Guys

I've set up a voice server for the use of the LAN community, it's running mumble, which is a very good, clear comms programme. Only downside is it can be a little tricky to configure.

You need to download and install the client from http://mumble.sourceforge.net

Server details -

agrippa.pkservers.co.uk port 64000

User = your nickname, eg Deep Blue

Password = samba

Speak to you soon, please let me know if you want any additonal channels created on it :)

why mumble and not vent or teamspeak?

personally, having used mumble, i prefer it for a few reasons - it is open source (which for me is a very good thing), and it hardly puts my ping up at all, compared to vent/ts
