I would also like to nominate for a dedicated server, Half Life Deathmatch.

I find it to me just more fun than HL2DM.

Other than that, good list. Well done..

Trackmania nations forever doesn't have a dedicated server that I can find.

I will keep looking but we may go with TM:N as we have a working server for that.

[Edit] Five mins later I find it. Will work on getting it working this week

erm just out of pure curiosity.

What if certain people have cracked games or ilegitimate keys. I know they are unaccepted in the global multiplayer server scheme but would they work for isolated local LAN's like this?

PseudoPhreak

i think they do, i expect the only problem might be if people are using the same keys.

will work with a keygen, but we dont talk about things like that here on the open public forum.

You must own every game that you wish to play at BreachLAN apart from those that are one disc per player, eg UT2004 comes on several cd's.

Just to correct madman there!

phew good yes dont worry I own all my games, I was just asking erm... for a freind.

Besides, I have a tendency to loose physical disks so most of mine are digital versions in file or steam.

Yup you never know when the cops might walk in!

That might be funny if it wasn't for the fact it has actually happened before.

What, at one of your LAN parties?

Breach of the peace? Underage consuming alcohol?! DRUGS AND PROSTITUTION!?

We can live in hope.

there was once when a bunch of guys came specifically to damage someone they knews car so the cops were call to check out hte damage and take a statement.

And once when there was a bunch of neds hanging around the car park and we called crime stoppers to send a car round.

Nothing overly exciting.
