I just thought it would be cool if we get a list of games people want or are willing to take part in at the lan.

i'll start:

we can maybe do a vote on what games people want to play.

I want to see lots of tf2, great game. But also some ut3 this time, it was out last lan but no one was on it.

The game to end all games though will be bf:heroes. As a) it's free and b) it's going to be a hoot. It's designed to run on all your old hardware also so everyone will be able to play it!

GH is great.. and rock band would be good if i could afford it and practice the drums. The guitar parts are just too easy if you went through guitar hero on expert.

Rock Band FTW!!! i got it and it ROCKS! Deff a great Party game! perfect for the lan :)

Also thinking about bringing my petrol remote controll car along , its great fun when your board and it does a very good speed :) so can race it about in the car park lol peeps can have a shot lol .. big boy toy ftw ;)

Can't blame the fellow, TF2 really is a spiffing good multiplayer game. Roll on the heavies.

It's jsut a shame that Breachlan will miss the arrival of RA3 by about a month or so i think.

Now that's a game I'm looking forward to.

Stage 2:
Flatout 2: 3 rounds, top 2 progress

Final Stage:
Worms Armageddon, Best of 3 rounds

We are also thinking of a TF2 toruney, but it will depend on final numbers.

Soon is relative tbh.

It'll be hoiked to the North American community first, and then we'll probably get it a fortnight or so before release. :/ Either way the full game won't be out until either October or November ( apparently 'Red October' in Russia actually took place in November, so take from that what you will ). I advise people to watch the videos of it though - it looks interesting if nothing else :)

Alien Swarm is an awesome coop game, especially since it runs on the UT2K4 engine which we all have. There is actually a Source version in prodcution, but I wouldn't hold your breath for that one tbh.

There is a Xbox 360 version of this, could explain the why the number of players is out...

But since it uses Windows Live, everyone who wants to play it may need an account unless you have a sliver/gold xbox live account. I am only guessing at this stage.

Fixed an error with the online lobby chat window text getting corrupted.
Fixed graphical bug in main menu screen where Status of Liberty was missing and there was a green square at the bottom right of the screen.
Fixed a bug which allowed hacking the game to allow LAN play.

LAN option is completely missing just now. Online only.

i doubt they will unlock LAN play until full release.
so someone should keep an eye out for hacks

The 2 link above is a hack to access LAN play on on version 1.0, does not work with 1.2 (even tho the youtube user says it does...)
