BF2 Version??

Well lads, seens the new version of BF2 is out, are we going to be using it at the LAN??

I've yet to update, as there are a few bugs and people complaining about silly changes to the way mines work, or more to the point can't be set off!

But just wondering if anyone else has updated yet?

Apparently, from what I can gather, thers currently a problem with bf2 working offline as we can't connect to the EA authentication server.

I think someone will probably download the lastest patch though and shove it on the ftp, so if we play it itl probably be the newer version.

connecting to the auth server is no problem, you just have to create a new account at login and make sure it's a single player account. As for the patch - I'd presume so

yeah we can get bf2 working offline, and we will be using most recent patches for all games

glad to hear it - would hate a lan without bf2 now a days :)
