dLAN - Gauging interest

Just wondering how many people would be up for a Saturday or Sunday of FPS some time soon?

I'm talking L4D, KF, OFP2 etc, i am open to suggestions too


I'm based up in Cove Bay and have room for 2 extra people to play (myself and Dioxin will be there) if anyone is interested just drop a post here, if i get alot of responses then i may consider making this a regular thing

Obviously as i'm not really known on here some of you may be thinking you will be murdered on site, i can ensure you that i am not a serial killer but if you wanna meet me first i'll be at the next BL event :D


No dates or anything set yet, just gauging interest at the mo

It should possibly also be mentioned that Killing Floor is releasing a HUGE free bunch of content, AND that its free this weekend for nubs that havent bought it yet (in addition 25% discount if you purchase it this weekend as well)

So I'll be gutting zombies left right and centre with all the new weapons trying to get my perks levelled.

Tentatively I've planned to be at Xyphious's place late Friday through to Sunday.

Well done on nearly getting Mr Perky! I've got me 3 level 5's so i'm going to concentrate on levelling either support or sharpshooter to level 6 before i finish the rest

My KF Stats

Unless the level 6 requirements are utterly mental my perk stats are as follows

Medic: Practically level 6
Support: Just Past Level 5 (just the damage I'd need to up for level 6)
Sharpie: Practically Level 6
Commando: Practical Level 6 just need to up Stalker kills a little
Berserker: midway to level 3
Firebug: midway to level 4

I just dont like playing firebug or berserker enough to level erm.

Although Firebug lvl5 is ferocious as a round 1 starter

Dioxin, lest you forget we do live in Scotland and its pretty much winter. If i open a window we'll be sub-zero within 5, i think we'll be alright.

OK so the final run down is myself, Dioxin, Deep Blue & Dave. Gemini dropped me a mesasge to tell me he's busy on Saturday but i'm probably going to make it a 2 day-er if people are up for it, then we can have Gemini join us on Sunday.

If you do want to stay over make sure you bring a sleeping bag or something, i've got a few duvets and stuff laying around but i don't want y'all to freeze to death!

Also i don't know who intends on staying over, i've definitely got Dioxin staying and Dave & Deep Blue get first dibs on the other sofa. I'll be able to fit someone (maybe 2 people) on the floor but with all the systems setup it could be a bit tight! Guess we'll see....also bring a sleeping bag if you do wanna stay

Thats kinda cool. I will definately come on Sunday if there is space and for as much of Saturday as I can be there for.

I have some SERIOUS DJ work this weekend though. I have a nightclub tonight which goes on until 3am tomorrow. And Saturday night I have Sunset Boulevard until 1am and then 2am-whenever gig somewhere else.

This weekend is going to ebe EPIC.

Yeah those last few games of West London were EPIC!
I went online last night and tried to see how survival was on there... OMG someguys wiped on Offices WAVE1!
We were consistantly clearing to round 7-8
So basically a lot has to be said for concerted effort team work!
We just need to work on our tactics a little more :-)

We'll do it, those West London games were some of the best i've ever played on KF.

I'm sure once we've got our perks levelled, sort our tactics refined and get some practice in we'll get it cleared!

Dioxin is currently trying to come up with a tourney idea for KF based off kill count over a 4 man team on Suicidal (details will be up soon!), so get some practice in and get those headshots down!
