Pub Lunch - Aberdeen - Sat 20th June

Exact pub is yet to be decided, does anyone know somewhere that does a really good steak ?

It's just off Union Street in Aberdeen and I have been in there once or twice to have a pint but I have never had any lunch there. It looks like it could be nice.

aka Hungry Horse, 2/3 of the way down King Street (next to Lidl) and yes the portions can be rather large :)

Food is pretty good, it's central with car parking, can't get better than that really :)

Others.... Mill of Mundurno, on the ellon road, again like the Brig, it's now table service.

Mains of Balquern (sp?) just before / after portlethen, self service

Cocket Hat, anderson drive, self service

These are just some of the places we've used with the car club like :)

Buckie Farm on the parkway is supposed to be quite good. They have a carvery etc there. Never been myself but my sister has been a few times.

I would recommend the apple pie and custard but you get the custard in a tiny little finger bowl type thing.

As a matter of fact because I knew I was going to be drinking I deliberately took my extremely tail-happy jap dori car along, lined up 11 pints with 22 chasers and waited till after desert to start drinking them. I like to think it seperates the men from the boys ;)
